Scones

350g self raising flour,  75g butter cubed, 4tbl spn sugar, 1tbl spn salt, 1 tspn baking powder, 150g natural yoghurt, 4tbl spn milk, 1 egg to glaze. Raisins if you like.

Add flour, salt, sugar baking powder to a bowl

Add butter and get your fingers in the bowl and rub till its well mixed

Warm milk and yoghurt in the microwave for 1 min

Add this to your dry mix and blend in quickly using a butter knife.

Once you have a dough cut into small rounds. Fold in some raisins if you like

Glaze them with an egg and bake for 15mins on 170 deg.

Jam and cream to serve (and a cup of tea)
